| 5 week old pooper My girls babies are 5 weeks old and the male seems to be having trouble with his bowel movements. He has them but seems to have to work awfully hard to move them. Any suggestions? Is karo syrup on a finger a good idea or not? Thanks in advance for any input. |

| You can add a little karo syrup to the drinking water and that will help soften the stools. Have you actually seen the male poop? Sometimes when puppies have coccidia they will strain a lot and nothing will come out. If you start seeing any soft or icky poops then you need to have them checked for coccidia. |
