| Breeders Beware I just come home from a meeting for the Suncoast Animal League. This is the rescue group that removed 121 dogs from a Tarpon Springs Puppy Mill run by Teresita Hughes. The league is fostering and providing essential health care to all the 120 remaining dogs. The focus of the meeting was our continual legal battle to keep these dogs from being return to Teresita Hughes. The website for the rescue organization has details regarding the events that took place on 04/07/08 and a gallery of pictures detailing the horrifiic conditions these animals were living in. The reason for this posting is to make aware breeders from all over the world that this woman is trying to purchase dogs to replenish her now empty puppy mill. Check out local news websites for Tampa Bay. Read and check out the photos from the rescue. If you truly care where your dogs will live out their lives, DO NOT SELL to Teresita Hughes. This is not innuendo, check online. State Attorney of Florida is investigating and we are confident through public support, that charges will be filed and ultimately she will be convicted. She is now trying to buy Biewer puppies. The breeds that were rescued were Yorkies, Maltese and Poms. Use your professional network to stop this woman from renewing her inhumane business. I thank you for your time and support. |
