Is she stretching her neck out? All mommas are not the same, but the one thing I always noticed is the stretching of her neck. That is how they push. Of course she may be different, but I really don't think it would hurt to check with the vet. A stuck puppy could be disasterous for the entire litter.

I had to do the same with mine. what I did was use a good quality kibble and used a rolling pin to crush it pretty fine, then I added some milk suppliment to it to make a mush and let them eat it from a saucer.

So is the one you would call the one not worth a dime or the one you would go to? If the one you would go to is an hour away, I think I would call them to see what they think, just to be on the safe side.

I agree... If tara saw a bubble quite a long time ago, I think I would be calling to see what the vet has to say.

I used the Eukanuba brand puppy dry kibbles. That's what I'm feeding Doo Doo. I just put warm water in the bowl with kibbles and let them get soft, then I stir them with a spoon. I gave them some yesterday, they loved it. I only did it yesterday. How often do you think I should be giving them some. Doo Doo refuses to even sleep with then. i don't know what to do. They seem to be very alert, walking and even barking some times. Oh and they started to go potty now and momma does not want to clean them. So that only leaves me with 6 pups to clean after.LOL

As long as they are eating it, that is good. I fed mine the kibble/mush twice a day. You might want to try it with the milk replacer. Especially with momma not feeding as much. But I would still make sure that momma is feeding them a couple of times a day as well.. at least for another week or so.

Okay great, at least now I kinda know what I'm doing (thanks to you). What kind of milk do I replace with? Oh and yes, I'll be locking momma in with them a few times a day. They do want to nurse but she gets away from them.

you can get the puppy milk suppliment at any pet store.. walmart even has it. walmarts brand is called just born. BTW it is also good for mommy
