| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. If he just mounted her but did not actually tie her then most likely she is not pregnant. It is advisable to always keep them on a lead when they are in heat. |

| She can get pregnant by an outside tie. If there was introduction of the penis by the male at all than sperm was introduced as well. I'd get her spayed right away just to keep her safe.

We don't have our front yard fenced in yet and I sure don't want no strays in my yard due to one of my gals being in heat. Our back yard has a privacy fence all the way around it with 2 locked gates that leads up to our Yorkie Room back door but I still will not let them out in our fenced in back yard... I know how males are with little ladies in heat...There isn't much that can stop them if they are determined to get to them...Except staying in the house or being in a room behind closed doors. Please try not to take her out on walks anymore while in heat and when she is out of heat I would get her spayed also, so you don't have to worry about any stay males getting to her at all. Lee | |
