Some Question regarding rescued (possible) Yorkie

Hey Sammi, the two I've got now are from a byb, but I think mills microchip too. They do it themselves, it's cheap enough that way.....and you can bet they wouldn't want to lose one of their money makers!

Anyway, here's Jodie Foster, you can tell a little about her sway back in the first....in the 2nd, I just wanted you to see a better pic of her. She is a tiny girl that should probably weigh around 4.5 lbs but weighs around 5, so she is a little overweight, but not enough that her back should sway as much as it does. She is a doll, very sweet girl.....she is going to make her new family so very happy!

Sounds like you're doing all you can, given the situation. Are you talking to the lady that has the dog or through someone else? Maybe if you keep at it, something will sink in. If you go visit the dog, she might see how she responds when someone that truly knows how to care for a little one is around. Maybe if you can keep the communication going, this will have a good outcome. I can't help but wonder what happened to the babies from this girl...sounds like a sad situation all around. I have not talked to the one that has her. She is the aunt of my friend. We talked about this on the phone for the longest time, numerous times. The aunt lives about an hour away from me.

My friend has told me that her aunt doesn't like to listen and will not spend other than the minimum amount of money on the baby girl. So we will try to convince her to let us take her to OUR vet. We my just be successful in this.

I will be posting more as soon as anything changes. I really am anxious to actually see her.

Awww, Jen. She looks so precious.

It is a good thing for these babies to have someone that doesn't give up on them and desires more for their little lives so that they can experience some of the good life that God intended for them.

By the way....waht do Ruby and Reno thisk of all this? LOL

Something attached to the hair shaft is probably lice, or mites. Mites can cause mange.

I feel bad that she won't let her stay in the house, but with all of those parasites I really can't blame the woman. However I would have shaved her and treated her by this time.

Sound like you have your hands full trying to convince the woman to get her to a vet.

We have tried to get her to shave her. She won't.

Actually, we feel that if she is taken to a good vet for proper care, these problems could be solved. We have done some internet search and come up with mites and/or lice. I am sure she has every infestation that is out there.

We will continue with our efforts and hopefully have something positive to report.
