| ![]() First of all I was not sending trying to send the same post 4 times. Being new to the forum, I was not aware that it took so long for this item to post. So forgive me if you had to read it 4 times. I was not trying to influence anyone other than to followup for my original post. If you look at my initial response to Mouserodri post than you will understand the situation. The real situation here is that. There is no breeder in the world who will have 100% healthy dogs for the fact of life that even human babies are sometimes born sick as well. So with that said, what is important is that people understand that it is natural for someone to blame the breeder when their puppy dies. But it does not mean it is their fault. Take that factor and you have Vets and their staff pressuring you to take action when they are already biased towards breeders anyway. So in haste, I posted my initial post without fully assessing the reality of the situation. Here is the reality, yorkieangel.com replaced my puppy with a puppy that more premium than the one that I paid for. When the other puppy was still alive they offered to feed and take care of it to get it healthy again to which I regretfully did not follow as an option. Rumours and bad press go along way to damaging someones reputation. So it would be wise to really make a correct assessment first of the situation. Then try to work with the breeder for a solution. I did and they were great to work with. These are reasonable people despite my initial response. Sometimes people want to blame the breeders for any problems that may come up. That is not fair and for that reason I think that breeders alot of times get a bad rap when they do not deserve it. So once again, and I am sorry if this appears multiple times, that I'm sure has happened before to Newbies but I will learn how this forum works before long. Was I happy my puppy died? No, Was yorkieangel to blame? probably not, did they compensate me and do the right thing? Absolutely yes, And will I recommend them to anyone I know, Yes I will for sure. |

| ![]() I just looked at their website and you can buy a "lotto ticket" for $20 to be in a raffle for a "teacup" yorkie...never seen that before ![]() |

| ![]() Lady....my butt! No one who is a class act would raise these little living creatures in a garage...get out of the breeding business if you can't do right by these dogs.

| ![]() Hey what do you know anyway, have you been there to see the setup? If so you would see that they have a climate controlled environment and some very hi tech equipment which filters the correct temperature directly into the puppies breeding environment. actually, the puppies environment is better and cleaner then alot of the human living environment. |

| ![]() If it is such a great setup then I am sure you wouldn't mind sending pictures....as far as I am concerned these dogs should be raised in the home and not in a garage...it is not about climate control but socialization ... these are "toy companion" dogs...not a product!!!!! I am sure you are right "cleaner than the human living environment" because these people have no self-respect if they are going to make their living off of dog breeding...real tough work.

| ![]() It's not a matter of how someone "interprets things." Fact of the matter is, the lady is raffling off a dog...a "teacup" dog at that. How many different ways can that be interpretted? It's a pretty well reknown fact amongst Yorkie enthusiasts that breeders peddling "teacups" are generally not the kind you want to deal with--it's something prospective buyers are generally warned to look out for. And it's clear on their site--not something you have to go there and see "in person." What I find particularly entertaining about the website is that they have a link to a list of how to determine if a breeder is reputable, one of which is "ONLY breeding one breed", Yet they don't adhere to that guideline themself! Just for the record, in case you are wondering why your posts are not being taken seriously. It's pretty common for new members to join up only to immediately began posting highly negative or positive opinions about breeders who have been discussed here. So frequent in fact, that those types of posts seem to have very little credibility. As far as calling other members ignorant and saying they live in miserable conditions, that's not only against forum rules, but it's just uncalled for and is certainly not going to help your cause any. Also, it's a bit hypocritical seeing as you feel strongly agasint people making "assumptions." Last edited by BamaFan121s; 09-16-2009 at 06:30 AM. |

So why didn't you use your contacts in AKC to find a reputable breeder? Why didn't you contact your local SPCA before you went to buy puppies to see if there were complaints. You state there were numerous problems with this breeder...you found out all of this later...why didn't you do your homework? And you call me ignorant. Sorry but that is one thing I am not when it comes to these dogs. P.S. Your statement that I live in miserable conditions is laughable as many YT members have been to my different homes. I worked for a very large corporation and have been transferred many times.

| ![]() This was recently posted on Pet Abuse.com Here is a link. Pet-Abuse.Com - Animal Abuse Case Details: Puppy mill - 83 puppies seized - Dixon, CA (US) DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILLS. It is so sad what is done to these beautiful little dogs so some "breeders" can make $..by purchasing puppies from them, rather than a reputable breeder, you are encouraging them to keep breeding and selling puppies. |

| ![]() ![]() I just wanted to Thank everyone for this thread... I to am looking for a Yorkie and came across this site YorkieAngel.com and was considering getting a puppy through them, Now that I have read all your comments I have decided not to get one through these people. Do any of you recommend a good breeder in Northern CA. I am not looking for a Yorkie for Show or to breed. I am looking just as a family pet and do not want to spend thousands of dollars but would like him/her to be healthy and socialized. |
