| If her vulva is a bit swollen, then I'd say yes, she has started her heat cycle. You can still have her spayed, but if that's not an option for you then I would take turns with the two dogs in the crate. One out, one in and so on. I wouldn't take any chances at all. |

| Dogs have been known to escape from crates or breed through them...I would use a double door system, making sure that there are 2 closed doors between them at all times to prevent any accidents.
