| Hmmm. not sure if it is is less painful or not, but the moms usually know what to expect and what they are doing after a time or 2 so maybe that is why its seems easier for some females.

| I feel like Zoe basically spit her three out..having three in less than 30 minutes...maybe the by her third all she will have to do is push one and they will all slip out. Like the sausage links...

| Not always!! Some require a c-section, some have large litters, some have a large puppy some have mal-placed puppies and need assistance and some do great!! Every litter is different.

| I did not find that Teddi's third whelp was any easier or difficult though I did notice that her discharge lasted longer afterwards. Each bitch is somewhat different and each pregnancy is different.

| Our third whelp wasn't any easier than the last two. In fact we had a little trouble with the first pup and the third born in this litter..So I wouldn't say that the # of litters gets any easier...As on many issues talked about, each whelping stands on its own.

i think the puppies were big for her 6 lb frame. she had 3 last time, and i think she was tired of pushing the last one out so i did assist a little.. but she was huge last time .. compared to now.. hopefully small litter and easy whelping. expecting one but maybe 2 i wish today i dont work til thuirsday.. so she needs to stick to my schedule

| Could you explain? We have had 3 litters...2 pups with the first litter and a singleton the second litter, then 4 the third litter and I would say she had more trouble with this last litter. Each pup out of every litter she's had weighed within 1/2oz of each other.
