| how much to feed to pregnant mom? I just have a few question my baby is 6 1/2 weeks pregnant, how much normally they gain weigh? I think mine only gain weight about 1 lb so far. and how much do you need to feed them? just the normal portion or more? my vet said to feed mine normally and give her some multivitamins. and shes on puppy food completely now. and shes only weighs about 4 lbs normally. shes 3 yrs old, and accidently got pregnant. |

| I left dry food out at all times when my girl was pregnant. I would also give her canned puppy food 2 times a day ( just a couple tablespoons mixed with little dry) I think it is on average they gain about 1/2 pound per puppy. So keep that in mind, and she will be ghastly thin after she delivers, so I would let her eat as she wants

| Oh.....at 6 weeks Chloe gained 1.2 pounds! I am taking her to the vet soon, so I guess we will see how much more she weighs. She is due on/around July 8.

| soud like she healthy. That is great Let us know How It goes, Mine don't like to go to the vet, Just like my child never liked the doctor lol. |

| I also try to feed cottage cheese or yogart to them during the day. I just change it around and give one one day and try the next one the next day. I give also soft puppy food to her.

| Some people now believe that by adding any form of extra calcium before deliverycan cause Eclampsia...That includes feeding puppy food...We give extra calcium after the delivery...
