| I lost a puppy. I'm sad to report that I lost my fight to save Diva's smallest puppy. He struggled Friday morning, gagging and not nursing. I rushed him to the vet. The vet thought that he was having seizures and was apparently having other problems. His blood work looked good, temp looked good, heart sounded good, lungs were clear and blood sugar was normal. But within hours he got worse and passed in my hands. Our vet thinks that he had some sort of neurological defect. Thankfully the other puppy is doing great and Diva is a wonderful mother. I'm just so sad over losing that baby and losing Coco. But..... not having yorkies is not an option. I'm in this for the good and bad. |

| Most likely he was a weak puppy or had anmonia. When they are small like that it is so easy for them to go down. Was he nursing? T. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Oh , so sad to hear this news. Losing a new puppy is tough to bear, but is sometimes a fact of life. Doesn't make it much easier though, does it? Hugs to you and one for Diva too.

| When you posted a few days ago about your little guy I had figured it was a seizure (I've experienced that with a pup or two of mine in the past...). So sorry for your loss. Best of luck with Diva and the surviving pup.
