| ![]() We bred Layla on May 10, a couple of weeks later she experienced what I called morning sickness. She would turn her nose up at some of her favorite foods, and she would mope around. At this point I wasn't sure if it was a sympton of being pregnant or just the heat, it has been pretty warm here the last couple of weeks. Her tummy seems to be firmer and her breast is swollen, She got through that stage and then she became grouchy, I have a little male 10 month old yorkie, (We didn't bred her with my male, thought he was to young) she made his life a living hell for a few days. If she is pregnant she would be on day 38 today. For the pass week she is eating everything in sight, which is so unlike her, because she is such a picky eater. She also want you to sit and rub her tummy all the time, this is not that unusual either, she has always like this. The vet I took her to did a physical checkup and said that she was pregnant so on June 10 at day 31 he did an xray and told me she wasn't pregnant nothing showed up on the xray. I was very disappointed, I'm still not convinced she isn't pregnant, of course this could be wishful thinking on my behalf. She is also getting a little wider through her back. So I have decided that I'm going to take her to another vet if she continues to show signs around the first of July. To the experts out there does this sound like pregnancy to you? |

| ![]() she could be.. I would find a new vet. You cannot see the babies by x-ray at 31 days. an x-ray needs to be done around 55 days

| ![]() The puppies are all over, this set of 6 we are expecting had them from the low abdomin to high in the ribcage, you see Bridgets ribs, the the babies under...it is a bit odd. She also had one falso pg before this, but she never looked pregnant, but developed milk, so each case is diffrent. We had to take all her toys from her as she thought they were babies, it was so sad! ![]()

| ![]() No, my girl Bridget is very narrow in the ribcage area, which is why I was so surprised to see one so high. But it is not near the heart at all, I hope this helps. Oh and one other thing, Bridget although expecting 6 pups, did not show hardly at all till 3.5 weeks ago, so it can be very difficult to tell!

| ![]() Hi Marlee, I have been following Bridget's progress. How is she doing today? Only a few more days to go! Let us know how she is doing! Chloe also had a false pregnancy, but only her nipples were swollen. She should be 43 days today. Within in the past few days, her tummy really expanded. I plan on taking her to get X-rayed around day 55. She has an appt with the vet tomorrow for a physical exam.
