Frontline and nursing Amber is a little past due for her Frontline. I was affraid to give it to her while she was pregnant. But now I am affraid that she and her babies will get fleas if I do not give it to her. Is it safe to give it to her while she is nursing (the babies were born yesterday)? I read the box and all the instructions and it does not say on there. Thank You

| I am not sure, but I would check with the vet before giving it to her.

Most Vets will tell you it's safe but most breeders will disagree. Personally I wouldn't. I don't give or put any chemials on moms while pregnant or while nursing.

Thank you I did call my vet first thing this morning. He did tell me that Frontline is safe to use. Then I called the 1800 number on the Frontline box for a second opinion and they said the Frontline Plus is safe to use on pregnant or nursings mommies.

Frontline and nursing I always use frontline on my dogs even when they are nursing. I have never had a problem.
