I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It seems like you would have to check out the breeders very carefully because YTCA forbids its members from advertising teddy bears or doll-face dogs. So the breeders who advertise this don't belong to the only club that requires it members to be ethical. So if they are not ethical, one could wonder if they might lie about the parents of the puppy. I think what you are describing is a dog with a short nuzzle and this trait will be found in many good breeders dogs, they just aren't allowed to use the teddy bear terminology. I love this look too, and the best way to get this feature is to see the breeder's dogs because puppies will usually favor their parents. By the way, nearly all puppies start out this way, it when they mature that the differences are apparent. So don't go by a puppy's picture.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I should probably add, I am not a breeder, but I have done a lot of research on how to find a good breeder because I had the misfortune of buying a dog that had many hereditary diseases due to the actions of a poor breeder. It was heartbreaking for me to watch my children and the puppy suffer. So I have become an advocate for good breeding practices. Best of luck in your search.

| I suggest you watch the May and June puppy threads for information about available puppies. There are lots of good, ethical breeders on YT. Good luck in your search, and I'm sorry you lost your little baby.
