| TINY baby boy! I have two tiny little boys, one seems to be latching good and eating good. I have one tiny little boy that doesn't seem to want to latch on. What do I need to do.. I could get him to suck on my pinky(it was way to big for his mouth) but I had to pry open his mouth...what do I need to do? Oh and my MIL has a scale for me that I am about to go get, so I can weigh them and keep up with that. |

| Yes I have been trying to put him on the teat all day!!! I tried to take someones advice and put all the others on the heating pad but Fancy does not like them to be more than a couple of inches away from her, so she gets really upset and will not lay down for nothing to let the others nurse...I called the vets office and asked them did I need to get some supplement and they said no that it will mess there stomach up..that I needed to make sure the little ones were getting as much as him. WELL DUH! His tummy isn't really tight or squishy but it isn't rounded at all...the others seem to be full. |

| Okay I just weighed them and we have our weights...they seem to be big for a large litter. Girls 1. 4 1/2 2. 6oz. 3. 5 oz. Boys 6 oz. 6 1/2 oz. 4 oz. I think I just got it confused a while ago I think I have 1 little boy and 1 little girl...I have no idea how I got that confused. Both of the little ones were latched on when I went to weigh. So maybe he is just being stubborn! I did weigh my nutrical(3 oz.) and it was between 3 and 4 so maybe it is half of ounce off but I guess they aren't as tiny as I think they are. This is my first litter of yorkies but I guess they are just smaller compared to the bigger ones. I am keeping a very close eye on them. |

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | you know you can still move all the others out from the feeding bar, and keep putting the two little ones up there. Some it takes a good day for them to get the hang of it and the little ones sometimes get knocked off the bar. But I agree try to suppliment. and keep putting up to the feeding bar. Sometimes if you squeeze a little milk out they smell it and do better |
