My 2 cents

I for one, am not going anywhere I will be there to help anyone I am able to and hope when I need help someone will be there for me.

I have met alot of wonderful people here who I consider my friends even though I have never met them

I've had alot of help from you all And I hope I've help some as well.

I had another YT member on the phone just a week ago as I sat and wept as I lost my whole litter. I am grateful for that I had someone. Very grateful that she was there with me, even by phone. Without YT and the breeders section...I may have never met her.

So lets hope we can continue to meet, and help eachother, in anyway we can.

Unfortunately, in a public forum there are not concrete answers to these questions. Seems to me, though, that a good rule of thumb is...if we consistently find ourselves accused of being rude by a variety of people....we probably are being rude.

Instead of saying you idiot you shouldn't be allowed to have dogs let alone breed them.

you could say
please do more reaserch a lot of the small females have problems breeding and you could loose her. Here are a few links to great threads,post, or websites to help you

But my point is - it's not a variety of people. It's usually the same group of people calling the same group of people rude. So, I see it more as intolerance of folks who are already here. I think there is room for everyone. I think we just need to show more respect and acceptance for those who are already here and care and show up.

Education is all about TACT! Yes there are different ways of getting the same point across, all we can do is try to educate. Some will listen and learn and others still won't Imo all we can do is try our best!

I do agree, But my post wasn't to single out a group of ppl i just know 1 or 2 ppl (heck i don't even think they know eachother) seem to post a lot of negativity. It's like they are trying to cause problems. The thing that upsets me is they have no facts or proof to back up what they say. I feel if you are going to be that Bold in posting you should at least be able to back it up with proof
I know that there are some threads that the op just wouldn't listen to anything positive or helpful and it does get ugly and on those people who just don't care at all about learning i do feel some tough love is needed but who are we to judge really? you can't cram your opinion down someone's throat and expect them to hear what you are saying. I am just saying to take a different approach is all

I'm not trying to ask this to cause trouble or get a fight going I want to know WHY...See I ask QUESTIONS all the time, just ask others here how much I ask questions and I learn from the ANSWERS others give me...

Can I ask why those of you who don't breed post in the "Breeders Section" and give advice??? If you have NO experience then why do you post?

Isn't this a Section for Experienced Breeders to give advise and for those who are wanting to learn more about breeding/whelping/raising a litter and for those who are new at it or have a bitch that is pregnant or about to whelp that truly needs the help?

I know if I had never bred before and didn't have the Experience then I would not post here in this section...If and I say If I did I would say I have NO Experience with Breeding but I seen or heard or read or so and so told me how to do this or my Father and so on went through this.

Read through here and see how many unexperienced YTs post answers like they've whelped 20 litters and they've never ever bred a dog let alone whelped or raised a litter.

To those of you who do post answers that have never bred/whelped/raised a litter before aren't you ever afraid that maybe you gave the wrong advice? Do you ever wonder should I have said that? Do you ever question what you said? Aren't you ever afraid you'll mislead/misguide someone and something bad happen to their bitch or litter? Does experience have anything to do with your answers? Please help me to understand why you post.

And please anyone who anwers any of my questions try to be nice about it so this thread doesn't get locked or someone gets into trouble...I truely want to learn the whys of all this.

I am not a breeder nor do i give advise about breeding i leave that to the people who know what they are doing

Personally, I post when I have facts to share or when the OP has asked for an opinion. I usually don't post on anything but general questions, although I have helped whelp several litters and one by myself, and helped raise several litters. But since I personally do not own Yorkies that I breed, I usually don't answer any whelping questions. I do ask for clarification if there is something I don't understand, as I do plan to breed someday. This is the only reason I even visit this forum, if I had no plans to breed I would never take the time to wade through all the drama. But I have learned some 'good stuff' here, and that is why I stay....sometimes I just have to take a break for a week or so.

I don't go to any particular forum. I just click the "new posts" icon and read from there. I often dont' even look to see where it was posted. I'm sure many others do the same. But just because you don't breed doesn't mean you should stay out of the forum, that's rude to say, some of the questions are general and anyone that has a dog could answer. Just because I can't sing, doesn't mean I'm not qualified to tell someone else that they can't either lol!
