Just wanted to remind everyone, though, that so far the OP has not asked for a critique of his/her choice of dog. I agree! If the man wants a Yorkiepoo or mixed breed then let him get what he wants.......from what I've seen some of the pups in rescue are cute as all get out but some have serious health problems.....I could have gotten by Bryan from a rescue but wanted a young pup that I could raise and train like I wanted ...and didn't have issues from being mistreated.....I loved all of the knowledge that Carrie Sawyer was able to give me seeing that I was a new Yorkie Mom....she really helped !!!! she also has Yorkiepoos and Maltipoos as well as Yorkies......my boy is a very happy and sociable pup and is cute as all get out!!!! I also had my reservation about buying a pup over the internet but am please to say he's everything I imagined and more!!!! Any time that I called, if Carrie was not there her husband,Nanny, and even her children had so much knowledge about these pups that I felt good about making this purchase. And since I've had him any concerns I can call her and she gets right back to me and I keep her updated on his progress(puppy classes)and she loves hearing about it......Let the man make his own decision! my yorkie is the sweetest and most obedient doggie. my yorkipoo is not as cooperative or obedient.. the yorkipoos are different for sure.. they are both great pets.. i couldnt choose just one so i got one of each.. i started with a yorkie and a yorkipoo.. i would recommend getting 2 puppies at the same time..in my opinion.. same age and energy levels keep them well balanced

This is a yorkie forum but we love all breeds at least I do,even the mixes.

here is some input.. check out gus gus at 2 months..a grizzly yorki poo
he is 6 months now with a long soft coat... he loves to be brushed, and
AMAZINGLY he does not mat.... poor gus gus is going to be neutered soon..
