Katy the main thing you need to do is be there when she has the pups, make sure she doesn't break the fetal sac until the pup is all the way out. If she breaks it & the pup comes feet first instead of head you may lose the pup.

No, don't try to get her to eat. Not eating is part of the process. Have water and her kibble available and for once be excited that she ISN'T eating. THIS is it girl!

My new bet is on tonight at 12:15 am. They almost always whelp at night. They prefer hours when the regular vet isn't in (ie late night, Saturday after closing hours, and Sundays at any given time).

OK, with that in mind, I am going to guess 3 pups, all female, Saturday night, 9:14 start!!

Thank you sooo much everyone!!! You guys are great!!!So I let her out of her xpen and she went straight to the kitchen, under the highchair and grabbed a cheerio... Apparently I missed one when I cleaned it up but I really think that she would eat a rock in the middle of labor.. She will eat ANYTHING that you put in front of her.. Just like my 15 month old...I am not going to get my hopes up about tonight because then she will not have them. I am going to join the contest and say that she will have the pups on December 10th, 2015 at 1am.. Will you guys still be there in the waiting room??
