I just read this entire thread, and wow, we have some fantastic YT members. I'm going to join those sitting in the waiting room, and say Wednesday night around midnight.

Lily had her puppies!

Amanda's and my females were due on the same day. I hope she goes soon and has an easy time.

ok......i have a perdiction......just a guess...i havent been told.....but i think either they will do a c-section at the vet today...which would possible put nelliebean as the winner or if not then im thinkin somewhere in the middle of the night on the 14th.......just a guess...so i think my guess is wrong too...im leaving it alone though...but i dont think i will make a new guess if mine passes....this is really fun

This was Lily's first litter. She had two males. The first one was breech and scared me to death. The second one was deffinitely easier for her. All is well except that she is so nervous this morning, like she doesn't know what to do next. She tries to go eat and drink but when the puppies whimper she runs to them. I hope she relaxes soon.

CONGRATULATIONS LILLY!!! WELL DONE GIRL.


I'm so pleased that she delivered her babies safely and so easily for a first time mom. She'll settle down , its just all new to her right now. Sometimes I hand feed my moms so they don't have to leave their babies. You could try it.

LOL, either that or Amanda's just been WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY overfeeding Kallie and is using pregnancy as an excuse for bad behavior!!!

If I could make a suggestion (for those who don't already do it) to those getting ready to have puppies. I used the puppy training pads under Lily while she was having the pups. Oh my God, what a cleanup saver. They absorbed the "goo" and kept Lily clean and reasonabaly dry. When one got too dirty, I changed it. She was really good about me messing with her. I'm hoping to keep them under them until they started moving around more. We had Golden Retriever pups last fall and I wished they made huge ones for them. The puppies got all stinky with urine from the bedding. I'm hoping these will help to prevent that with my Yorkies.

I use them too. Makes clean up way easier and you are right, mom and puppies stay cleaner.
