If U're gonna go with the tote I'd get the bigger one. I just like the room we have in it. When is she due? Does U're pantry have a door so U can close it? If not gate it shut now for her so she will get use to not being able to go in there and it won't be so upsetting to her on Whelping Day. U don't want any other Yorkies or dogs around U're mommy (We only had Teddy when Tif had her 1st litter so he went into the bedroom with the door shut until she whelped our 1st litter of course our 1st puppy was whelped while he was in there but I didn't know she was having them, my oldest daughter was here and moved him quickly in there for me.) while she is whelping or after the puppies are whelped, it will make her nervous and upset and she will fight with them. Okay about U're room to leave U're Mommy and babies in. What about U're bedroom? Does it have a door on it to close? Do U have a garage? Reason I ask about the garage is could U move a dresser in the garage to make room for her whelping box/tote. Really I do whatever I have to do for our mommies to be alone without any other dogs or people around. They need to be alone and it will make her feel more secure and comfortable. I know finding room maybe hard for U but I feel it needs to be done. But if U can't then I'd do what BJH said to do & I never thought about the sheet over it. Tif would of had it tore off anyway ![]() I hope all goes well for U and if U need any other thoughts or ideas feel free to ask, our minds are always going ![]() I get excited for everyone here having puppies so if U can let us know when she starts whelping ![]() Lee | |

| ![]() The one in the second picture (clink on the link) is about 11" tall, 19" wide and 24" deep. The other one is 24" x 24" and about 8" high. The one with the posts is harder to store, the others I have are like the second picture but they are 11" high and 24" x 24", I liked that size better for bigger momma and bigger litters. |
