Suction him more , swing him gently and dry him well rubbing gently but briskly..Make sure you swing and wiggle him abit upside down at a slight angle to get up any more phlegm, then suction again. I find sometimes if I hang them upside down at a slight angle and tap their backs gently it helps them get up more phlegm too.

im working with him....he just funally let out a tiny whimper

Sounds like he has more fluid you need to help him get out still. Crying is a good sign he's getting air, just help him to get the rest of the fluid out. Mom is having them pretty fast so don't rush clearing out the fluid from them it can cause problems later. Make sure their lungs are as clear as possible.

He finally stopped gasping..that was scary
He is doing some little squeaks now
Nala seems to be resting a bit now.
I did get alot more fluid...Thanks!

Squeaking is good! Generally Mom does just fine with a little help from her friends (you). Our Mama dog seems to get self-conscious when I'm in the room and doesn't perform well. So I leave for just a few seconds and she gets on with her business. I don't really leave her I just go into the next room and then come back again. We keep repeating the process until she is done. What a character. Tell Nala, "Good Job"!
