Wow it is hard to keep up to everyones babies.. what a huge month this has been..
Nicki can you imagine having 7 girls!!!!!! what a gift that would be.. good luck.. we are watching you and all the mommys.. I am busy with my 4 and not sitting on my butt so much now..lol

I probably would change them off and on, and give them the supplement too. Maybe ask your Vet.

gee I would not have a clue what to do except call the vet.. I have never even imagined have that big a litter.. and all girls!!!!!! I am watching but cannot keep up...and I only have 4 to watch..anne

Hi, Sorry I wasn't on last night to see this. I always sleep on the couch next to the new babies and mom for several days until all of them are gaining weight steadily each day. Especially with tiny ones. I weighed them each time they ate (every couple hours) and supplemented if they hadn't gained or their tummy didn't look full. I also fed mom in the night, just whelping pudding or some cottage cheese to keep her strength up.

I thought I saw you got the inverted nipples out so there is room for all the babies to nurse. That is great news. How is everyone this morning??

I am still in the whelping room sleeping and have actually come out of there for the first time.. I stay up till around 4 a.m for the past two nights.. and then my hubby is up shortly after 6 to check on them.. he lets me sleep in a bit.. if I need a rest later in the day I lay down in there with her.. and then I am good to go late again.. I am hoping I will get through the day today as I was awake a few nights before her whelping.. so now I need to try to get back to some normal living....that is what I do..every couple hours I check to make sure they have full bellies..
