just a quick excerpt to help swing the puppy to clear it's airway hopefully someone is reading this for you while you work with the puppies... if your boyfriend is home with you, have him type here and read to you so we can help you You "swing" the puppy by holding on your hand on its back. Your fingers should support its head and neck. With your other hand covering its body to prevent slippage, swing the puppy downward in an arc. This usually forces the liquid from the lungs and clears the airway. |
no. i have the blow dryer on her and Im giving her air threw a straw. Tipped her upside down and sucked a bunch of liquid out of her. She's gasping tho.please help |

Just make sure to keep a good hold on the baby. place the puppy in your right hand with it's back in your palm and it's head closest to your fingers. cradle the head and neck with your fingers. Place your left hand over the top enclosing the puppy in both hand. Starting waist high swing the puppy downwards to your side rapidly. Make sure you do not let her slip from your hands. Then rub the puppy vigorously with a warmed towel. |

She's doing good. The swinging helped. She's moving around and not letting me stick the sucker in her mouth. She keeps moving away from me...Great sign!!! She is 5 oz!!! |
