If at all possible try to keep her from breaking the sac prematurely. This will cause a dry birth which is often more difficult. It won't be long now!

One of my little girls Little Miss had the sack showing for over an hour. So I called the vet and when I was on the phone with him the baby was born. He told me to make sure she does not break the sack. Kind of hard to do sometimes.

Thank you for the info the vet never explained why she shouldnt break it. As I always say you learn something new every day. For me on this site I have learned more then one thing everyday. Thank you again!!!!!

Just stay calm!!!!! Sounds like she is doing great. Feet first is not a bad thing. Just remember not to break the sack before she is born. And remember to break the sack around the face first.

About 40% of pups born come feet first. It only makes it tougher if it's a dry birth than they can get caught under the arm pits. Your almost there.

Make sure that you stimulate it well and see if you can get it to latch on as soon as possible. Do you have any nutridrops? If you do give him one drop on his tongue as long as he is breathing okay.

Have you suctioned it's mouth so it can breathe well? You also can have your boyfriend warm some towels in the dryer, turn off your AC, and rub the baby in the warmed towel to stimulate it

I have also heard of using a hair dryer on the low setting. Remember if it is burning you it will burn the baby so use on the lowest setting
