What a night you have had Tami!!! Congrats to you and your momma.
Upset tummy can last a awhile I woudl not worry unless it keeps up.

He was covered with yuck but we got him all cleaned up. Remi has been throwing up since about 7:15 and isn't feeling her best but I'm sure she's glad that she's done. After being up all night and being so stressed thinking that I'd lost this puppy I can say, "Thank God that we are done and everyone is safe" Thanks for all your prayers, they worked!

Another boy, I thought for sure it was gonna be a little girl. Thank God, I fell asleep saying prayers for U two. I thought something was going wrong since U wasn't online with me anymore. I'm just glad they are all 5 okay and U too. What a night/day. I hope U get U're much needed rest U so well deserve.

I got up @ 9 and U should see the bag under my left eye. Big one, that will take a few weeks to cure lol. & I must of slept on a crease in my pillow for I've got a big crease on my right cheek, Justin ask who I'd been fightin' all night.
I hope her tummy gets to feeling better for you.

Tami, I read this post from U to Justin this morning & I thought he was gonna fall out of his chair laughing. He said "Sick As A Dog, She Is A Dog" I said Justin she's not any dog she's a Yorkie. I guess U was tired.

Congrats Tami....glad it all worked out and no trip to the vet.
We have given them Karo to help control the vomiting from the Calsorb, it seems to really help, we stick some Karo in their water for the first week or so too. This helps them have a good appetite, settle their tummies and keep their energy up! Hope she is feeling better!

She just went out and had her first bowel movement and seems alot steadier on her feet. I'll try the karo in the water, I'm sure she'll appreciate it. Thanks

Sorry I disappeared on you this morning. I fell asleep with Remi for a little while and AOL kicked me off. I got back on just about the time that you left. Thank you so much for keeping vigil with me last night, I really enjoyed your company. I was so worried this morning I almost ran out of here without my teeth brushed and with my hair sticking out all over the place. I still look rough but my teeth are brushed.

Wow, Tami, I just caught up with all the events. What a long night you had. And I'm so glad you had a happy ending with that last little boy. An hour and 1/2 away from the ER is pretty scary. SOOO glad you didn't have to make that drive.

Is anyone else having trouble with diahrrea in their mom since giving birth?

Ruby's puppies are a week old tomorrow and she still has very loose stools. The only thing I've added to her diet is Chicken Soup wet food. I'm afraid to give Kopectate as it has aspirin in it, and 4 of the puppies still have to have their tails docked.

What do you suggest, pumpkin?

pebbles had loose stool for a little while also. i fed her boiled chicken and rice for a little while and shes doing great now back on her puppy food.

Its very common for them to have loose stools..
I would try the pumpkin...Puppies love it..but not the adults as much
and rice also. Nala and even Allies are still very loose.

Sometimes the stress of having pups will cause the mom to have an outbreak of coccidia if she is a carrier of it or if she ate many afterbirths that could cause stomach upsets. To be safe you might want to have her stool checked. The canned pumpkin mixed with a little karo syrup certainly could not hurt.

If that is the case, some Albon wouldn't hurt, would it? I don't believe it's dangerous to nursing pups. I love Albon...I always keep it on hand.

Don't you worry one bit for leaving me I would of done the same thing to U if I had all that U had going on. I really enjoyed your company too and I learned a lot also.
See that is real love, U don't worry so much about yourself it's your Yorkies that U worry about more!! But I'm sure they would of understood after all you went through last night. Well at least you would of had fresh breath. Lee

Albon would be good if she has any. I give it to mommas if they get diarrhea. I just was not sure if she had any on hand.
