My Nala is having puppies too...April 24 or so
I bred her as now ,as I didn't want to wait until her next heat and have summer puppies.
So hot for her and puppies in a whelping box.
Nala is a Morkie. And the sire is a Morkie.
She has BEAUTIFUL puppies that I am so proud of.
So thats my secret...only a couple on here know.
They are NOT mutts and they are not in shelters...
They are wonderful lovable dogs
So now everybody knows.
I felt like a hypocrite telling everyone dont be afraid to post

I was so nervous writing this I forgot to say
Nalas last 2 litters were of 7 pups.
First time with a month to go she was huge...
Hanging on the ground when she whelped
The last time she was little but had 7 again!
This time she has 3 weeks to go again and shes HUGE.
I have to take pics.
She is pure black with just a tuff of white under her chin.
Very rare , and looked just like our Nigerian Goats.
Thats why we bought her. We thought how funny that our dog looks like our goats. She was our very first dog. And she is the queen bee here.
But shes huge..and I am so excited.
She is 4 and if its another large litter it may be her last. Will go with how I feel and what the vet thinks.
But..... I so wanted to share with you all.
Hopefully no one attacks me or this thread.

I don't recommend this now but it just crossed my mind, in my younger years we used them for smoking and I snatched one from Drs office. Seriously, I haven't seen any elsewhere other than online. I'd like to hear if anyone has seen any for sale also.

Not me, I'm not one for too much drama..... I do believe in breeding for the standard but I believe in learning from example not browbeating.

Nala sounds very pretty, are her ears up or down? Gosh, I bet she's going to have a big litter again. Better you than me lol. I had a big litter and it just wore me down physically. I'm not good at math and I'm sure, maybe you've thought about this.... Morkie bred to Morkie, how much yorkie will the babies be (like 1/4 or 1/2)?

O.k I'm being lazy and I don't want to read all the pages as I was left way behind but I want to know ........did someone had their babies? , I believe they were due today.

I believe in breeding for the Yorkie standard too.
When breeding Yorkies
I know its just a mutt in somes eyes.
Designer dog to others.
But shes special to me.
Morkie to Morkie is Morkies I guess..LOL
I never thought of how much Yorkie 1/3 or 1/2 what do u think?
But most of her pups have Yorkie coloring with white.
My vet calls them second generation Morkies and she loves them too.
Nalas ears are down. None of her puppies ears went up.
I'm going to post pics soon as I can....Yes I think theres another large litter
One out of each litter was handfed thru out.Never would take to Nala
Its a lot of work...But I just love it

We had our babies...and it was a day whelp!!! Yeah I know I'm bragging, let me though k? Tink had 5 beautiful little loves, 3 girls and 2 boys.

I've been searching today and can't find them in stores so I guess I'm going to have to overnight them. They are like 5 bucks but overnighting them is in the 20's
I want to do the dews and tails on Saturday and didn't want to band this time.

Oh gosh, yeah you are on a time restraint. I wish we were closer, I could help and see those puppies. Which size are you getting, the mosquito (the smaller skinnier ones ) or the bigger ones?

I personally like designer breeds, within reason. I guess that would be within "my" idea of reason. We have friends with a LabraDoodle, and he is a real doll. They have allergies, so this worked out really well for them -- they are now thinking of a Yorkie.

I have a beautiful AKC Golden..Hes HUGE
Everybody says breed him. and some even have said breed Goldendoodles.
We have no intention of ever breeding him.
