Well, my next girls probably won't pop up until a "May thread", because Hadley's 57th day isn't until the last day of April. She's pretty big, so you never know...but I doubt she'll go 57. So we have about another week and a few days, and then we pack our bags and move to May! ;):D

I have 2 of my girls due in May, and then my friend's yorkie is due in May too...I'm taking care of her during the labor, delivery, and raising the pups because she doesn't know anything about it. She's getting her spayed after this litter. Anyways, so basically I have 3 litters coming up next month.

Due dates are: May 6th (Hadley), May 8th (Lola), and May 27th. They are ALL showing. Hadley is HUGE, this is her third litter...she had 4 the first time, 6 the second. Lola just has a little tummy, this is her first litter. My friend's girl is already showing at only 4-5 weeks, this is her first and last litter...but her mother had 6 in her litter.

Maddie is also due the first week of June (I think the 5th or 6th). Her first litter, probably her last as well. She had 5 brothers in her litter. ;)

Mikayla actually only has one little girl left...she had 2 girls, 1 boy...girl 1 was already dead, Aidyn died last week. So just one baby left for her.

And Hadley is actually due on May 6th...the 30th is just her 57th day...;)

Of course, I had been following "Aidyn" and forgot to connect that back to Mikayla. Very sad.

I also forgot to include the litter of seven that was fostered by Joey's Mom and the cleft palate puppy with the vet. I believe there are two puppies with Joey's Mom and the one with the vet still from this litter. Sorry. That was an important thread and I still think about those babies and their journey.

Oh my goodness... that must have taken forever to go through this giant thread!!!!! Good job... it is neat to see all the babies! You must really be trying to get your mind of Ruby!!! :D

Duckie has just had four little boys. They have their own thread now.

Mom had a greenish black discharge and was very concerned, called her vet and he said it was okay.

This raises a couple questions for me.

First, we lost a puppy after a greenish black discharge that our vet said was okay. Mom's water broke and the discharge was actually the waste from the sack around the puppy. It is my understanding that the puppies produce waste and it just hangs around in the sack. But when the sack breaks the waste products can be discharged and the waste is greenish black goopey stuff. This means there is a puppy in there without a sack, although it is still hooked to mom with the cord. In our case, we could actually hear the puppy crying inside mom when the vet examined her. They said it was okay, but it wasn't. I'd be scared, scared, scared (:eek:) if I saw that again! Anyone else have this problem before?

Second, do your females have diahrrea before labor? Ruby has thin mustard-colored diahrrea this morning. Her diet hasn't changed, so I was just wondering if you have seen this as a prelude to labor or if I just have a mom with an upset tummy. :confused:

I too was VERY concerned about her puppies when I read this.
Thank God everything turned out ok.
I had NEVER seen that with my litters nor read that its normal.
Everything I've ever read say its NOT normal. I was worried for her.
Thats so sad you heard that poor puppy crying inside her :(

And yes....that may be a prelude to labor.
Tho Allie or Nala didnt do it...Its very common that they do.

Maybe. Her temp is still below 98, but you can never tell. She does seem to feel a little better today. A little spring in her step. Maybe she's just happy for Nala!!:D

I know shes got a ways to go before her pre pregnancy weight.
But 8 puppies out does wonders for the figure.
And she has a bounce to her step again too..lol
