maybe puppies today?!

i had to work today... so pebbles is here at the office with me. i brought her box and all supplies JUST INCASE. today is day 61. well... she doesnt want to be in her box. she picked a little space between some files underneath my desk. i put her blanket down there and she scratched and circled and scratched some more and started licking herself... and then.... she layed down and went to sleep. :-/

no action yet... but im HOPING she decides tonight, after we get home from work and before bed time

when every ones home and ready to help out.

Well we're sTILL here lol

Took Nala in the front yard for a little walk.
She ate a few nibbles and has pretty much just stayed in her whelping box.
Until I took her out for a bit.
I'll keep you posted.Hope everyone else is doing good.
You know whats going to happen...we will all be having them at once..lol

so how far past due do you let them go before you take them to the vet for an evaluation.....remember this is a question from a non-breeder( for a while anyway).....research....research.....research....l ol

so right now we have Nala, Ruby, and Pebbles all due any minute....boy this thread is gonna burst with posts...and so are the girls if they dont get busy soon.....lol

You are sooo funny. I did the same thing with Ruby. Took her out for a short walk around our sidewalk. She moved sooo slooooowwwwlllly. I put her in her whelping pen and she is sleeping now.

She is getting a funny shape to her. You know how a bee looks when it stands up and its stinger end is pointed up in the air. Well she looks just like that.
Here she is in her bee costume. Do you think she is reliving her glory days of singledom before motherhood took over??

What about Sweetie? She hasn't had her puppies yet has she?

Jewels had babies last night 2 little girls I just posted them in the nursery!!!!

My vet recommends that you not let a female go over 65 days in pregnancy without being checked (sonogram to see if puppies still viable). With the week end coming, I'm taking Ruby in tomorrow afternoon (day 65) to be sure there isn't a problem. I hope we don't have a bad puppy holding everyone else up. Sad thought. Sorry. I'm feeling a little discouraged. No sign of labor yet.
