Well, I checked Lilly's temp right before we head to bed and it is the lowest it has been yet! It was 98.1! CROSSING MY FINGERS!!!! Four girls... gotta be somebody this weekend!!!!

Funny, her last litter I was up sick that night too??? I think I am having sympathy pain for her

Hee-hee... I know Lilly keeps going up and down, up and down. I just was shocked to see such a low reading. But, you are right you never can tell with these girls, even with all the right signs!

Maybe Nala will get jealous and decide to beat Lilly before morning

After so called husband said I was wrong.
I felt the puppies moving good last Sunday.
So its been a week. By what I wrote she had 2 weeks to go as of last thurs.
But you dont feel puppies almost 3 weeks before their due
She is just huge...When is yours due? You're later this month ..right?

Nope... Lilly is being a stinker! She is taking her sweet time

It is okay though... I just want them to be healthy and strong!

Wow, we had some action here last night! No puppies though, these girls are really stubborn aren't they.

Ruby's temp dipped from the 99's to 97.7 this a.m. That is where it was several days ago when I thought she was ready. She had a little bloody show, but not much. Still eating and no nesting, so I think she won't go today.

Just as an aside, about how crazy the household can get (like having food poisoning and still being a mommy), yesterday we bathed and groomed all the dogs, puppies too. We have an owner and a prospective owner coming today to see the puppies. This morning in all the hub-bub of feeding, etc., the puppies tore up their pee pads (paper ones) and when the dust settled they looked more like dalmatians with spots! My granddaughter looked at me and said, "Do we have to do that all over again??" HA! She is learning early (9 yrs.) just how much work puppies can be.

how sweet that you have your granddaughter to help...that is your special time together and those times go away way too soon

Jewels is due this coming Sunday.Had some really loose stools this am but nothing else. Good appetite and just searching the house.
Usually do not feel pups 3 weeks before the due date usually 2 weeks.
I could feel skulls and ribs last night and of course they are butt first.LOL

News about little Aidyn...he's dropped back down to 3 ounces and not nursing anymore

...so I'm back to tube feeding every 2 hours. Keep the prayers coming...

I'm so sorry to hear this! Sounds like we may have a whelping tonight. These gals sound like they are getting close. Remi has 2 weeks to go. I hope she's on schedule as I'd like to get these pups established before the May shows come up.
