The baby girls leg is almost perfect..no more tape...YAY~!

But I just want to thank everyone who stood up for me.
She did post good info in her initial response But................
Then to say go on to call it life threatening etc..
Ok...I have a son and daughter who are both nurses.
I thought it was kinda funny. I ask them and they both said.
A compound fracture that comes thru the skin can be life threatening.
You can bleed to death. And any break...bump or bruise CAN throw a blood clot.
But that can happen even if it is set and put in cast.
I hate when threads turn like that ?
Anyways,,,,on to more..My Nalas temp is down again
But still not low 98's But she just threw up all over her blanket

So I dont know whats going on...lol
Maybe...maybe not...I guess we will see if her temp goes lower.
I am kinda getting the feeling tho..just by how shes acting...it may be real real soon. Will keep you updated.
I wanted to add...she looks ready~! Her tummy is big and cute...
And she is swollen ...soon..

we didn't had a winter this year

I was wearing summer clothes all year and for x-mas eve we had a swimming pool party !

No, not that bad but it was like 45-50 degrees as the coldest, and right now we are like in the 85's.

We weren't sure which tie took so the vets best guess was the next five days. He said to bring her back in on Monday if she hasn't had them. I am watching her like a hawk but she isn't showing many signs. She does have the clear discharge, and her nipples are pretty swollen, but temp is normal. We will see

I love Colorado... we get snow today... by Saturday we are supposed to be in the sixties and by next week in the seventies. We get to enjoy the moisture but it doesn't stick around long enough to bother us

Plus, this will really help things get green next week YAY!

I'll start....Allie had her 4 puppies sunday night and Nala is due any time.

And Jan ..have you posted any recent pics of your babies?

Been supplimenting this tiny girl I have and not sleeping enough so my brain is mush, so bear with me.
I remembered Allie had hers.
I'll post more pics this weekend, the 4 of them are getting huge!

Hey guys, sounds like a lot of babies are STILL due to come!!

Good luck to everyone!

I'm fighting a losing battle with this little boy, he's dropping weight and having a hard time nursing. No cleft palate. I'm working like crazy on him, so that's why I haven't been on here much. Pray for him that he'll pull through. I'm not sure Mikayla can handle losing another baby...she was in a panic over the first little girl.

The bigger girl is doing great though, she's a little butterball. I just hope I can do enough to keep this little boy alive too.

Yes, he has dropped back to 3 ounces (4.6 at birth). He never seems to be full. He has a nice firm suck, he'll nurse sometimes...but he never seems to get full. I think he has trouble latching on. His color is good, and I'm supplementing him every couple hours, so I'm hoping he'll hang in there. I'm working hard on him!! Thanks guys, just keep praying!

Keep going, maybe he has a strong suck but latches on to the end of the nipple.They can really keep us busy

Oh Niki, I'm so sorry about your little guy. Sending warm thoughts and strength to that little man and to you as well. Its a good thing you have experience, I'm sure it gives him a better chance.

Ruby is still due 4/17. Holding her own and big as a house. Debbi glad to hear about your little girl's leg. That is great news. Now lets hope for a good whelp for Nala and for everyone else due soon.
