Still waiting... Lalalalalala.......... How many of you are getting impatient with your girls?! Ok Duckie is playing tricks with me. This morning she was acting really restless and uncomfortable and now she wants to go run around the yard and play!! She is constantly ringing her bell to go out but I don't want her having puppies outside! I told her I would let her play after she is done having these babies, but she doesn't want to listen to me :tongue3: My ears are beginning to ring from hearing her bell ring. I think I am gonna go take it away now! |

How is Ruby. Good question. She is so the same I'm starting to think she swallowed a balloon and isn't pregnant at all. Temp 98.6, consistent with other days. The "odor" has diminished, I'm guessing it was a little leakage, although I didn't see anything. She ate well, slept well. Very strange. How many days until we worry? We are on 64 now -- isn't it 65 days and then to the vet? |

maybe puppies today?! i had to work today... so pebbles is here at the office with me. i brought her box and all supplies JUST INCASE. today is day 61. well... she doesnt want to be in her box. she picked a little space between some files underneath my desk. i put her blanket down there and she scratched and circled and scratched some more and started licking herself... and then.... she layed down and went to sleep. :-/ no action yet... but im HOPING she decides tonight, after we get home from work and before bed time :D when every ones home and ready to help out. |
Well we're sTILL here lol:p Took Nala in the front yard for a little walk. She ate a few nibbles and has pretty much just stayed in her whelping box. Until I took her out for a bit. I'll keep you posted.Hope everyone else is doing good. You know whats going to happen...we will all be having them at once..lol |
so how far past due do you let them go before you take them to the vet for an evaluation.....remember this is a question from a non-breeder( for a while anyway).....research....research.....research....l ol |

My vet recommends that you not let a female go over 65 days in pregnancy without being checked (sonogram to see if puppies still viable). With the week end coming, I'm taking Ruby in tomorrow afternoon (day 65) to be sure there isn't a problem. I hope we don't have a bad puppy holding everyone else up. Sad thought. Sorry. I'm feeling a little discouraged. No sign of labor yet. :(:(:(:( |
