Sometimes (well a lot of times!) the hostility in this forum is overwhelming. I think it makes people NOT want to ask questions because they will be jumped all over. If breeders really wanted to help the breed, they will be kind and give gentle advice to inexperienced breeders, not yell at them. I wouldnt be surprised if she turns tail and runs now and just wings it from here.

I totally agree with you!!! From the get go I have been spoken to VERY harshly! Luckily I don't give a you know what what people say to me that are like that! I take the good advice and listen to the people that want to help instead of being ugly about it...because people that write back negative posts they just get blocked and they don't get read so they are sitting there just typing away and it doesn't do a bit of good...so I get a lot of entertainment out of this website also!

Did you get your Yorkies as adults or have you had them since they were puppies? I gather that you have never breed any of them yourself so do you know if any of them have been used for breeding before? We will be glad to help you all we can and there much to learn. Any input from you would be helpful.

| I've read that once a female reaches about 3 years and hasn't been bred that the uterine tissues start to toughen up and lose some of their elasticity. This could create problems if she were to become pregnant. If I'm wrong on this one, maybe someone will correct me on this. |

| I concur with Woogie Man and My Fair Lacy about the first pregnancy after age three. It is much better to start when they are younger.
