| Thermometers I need a thermometer for Ellie. I am leaning toward the cheapest one from KV Vet Supply. Does it make a bit of difference which brand?

| You can get digital thermometers at Wal-mart for less than 5 dollars. Depends on which one you want. Hope this helps! Goodluck!

I just don't want to spend money on something that isn't accurate. I have a digital thermometer here for people and it doesn't seem to read my temp quite right, so I don't want to go buy just anything for Ellie.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | You can get them at Target, Walmart...etc...They are very reasonably priced. The digital are used for rectal use. You just need a little KY and make sure to insert it far enough for an accurate reading. My vet taught me to insert to where the thermometer begins to widen, right before the reading is displayed. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I use a baby thermometer that bends, is digital. I use the covers with KY jelly and it keeps the thermometer sanitary. I bought it at Walgreens I think. |

| A tip: Get one that is less than 60 seconds, the quicker the better. |
