| I think a lot of them that breed(I know my breeder did), named all the pups, then, she would call them whatever name the buyers wanted to call them..but, puppies don't hear when they're first born, I can't remember how long it is before they can actually hear.. |

| Naming Your Yorkie When I got my Yorkie, her name was not Polly. Even though she was four years old, she learned to repond to Polly extremely quickly.

| I have Yahtzee, Yankee, Fancee, Pennee, and Yogee. I don't name a puppy - unless I'm keeping it. I call them all by some sort of name, but nothing permanent, until I tell me they want to stay with me!

| Naming Pups I name all my pups with their Registered Names, so few years down the line, i could tell you if it was one i bred. I dont give them names when they are with me indivdually, but they are all called 'puppies' when being called together!!!! Its quite impressive to the new owners when they come to collect their pup when i call 'come on puppies'and they all come running!!!!! |

| Duncan's breeder had names for all the puppies, but they were all named after candies because they were just temp. names. Once I send her the deposit on him she asked me if I had a name for him yet so she could start calling him that and get him used to it. I thought that was a smart move in helping the adopting family and the puppy's adjustment period. She even asked me about my potty training if my furkids went out or used paper pads, so she could start the training process..... she was just wonderful to me and still is when ever I have a question
