| I also had a couple of pygmy goats one of which we got when it was only a few days old. Little Izzabella stayed in the house and slept with me for several weeks until she decided she liked the barn and her goat friends better than me. We bred her once and after the babies quit nursing I started milking her and fed the milk to the barn kitties and even used some in an "foal emergency". LOL at one point I thought I was going to make some goat cheese, I could never get enough milk at one time for a recipe. We don't have goats anymore, and I truly miss them. |
