| AKC DNA Testing kit! I sent off for a dna testing kit for my male buddy from akc.I have never done this before,I hope it comes with directions.Is it prety easy to do?Is it like a swab or something to scrape off skin cells in his mouth right?I just hope I do it right.

| all you do is take the cotton swab, rub in on the inside of his mouth, place it into the envelope and mail. very simple

| it is very, very simple as the others have said. Just make sure you run the swab around between the teeth and jaw. it takes several weeks to get the results back from AKC tho. or it least it always has my family. |

| I had to do mine twice. Some dogs don't give a lot of cells off to collect. They simply sent me another test that was slightly different. If I remember correctly it had more to do with his spit then the cells. That one worked out great
