| You know those big cardboard chip boxes you can get at Sam's or the grocery store? That's what I use... |

| My husband build our whelping boxes. They are bottomless so I put down a couple sheets with the heating pad in between and then I just set the box on top of the bedding. I works great because the momma cannot mess up the bedding and I don't have to worry about the puppies getting rolled up in the bedding. I put a small fleece blanket in the box also. The whelping box is in an exercise pen. |

| You can use one of those blow up kiddie pools. You can get it at Wal-mart for like 5.66. I know those works great....

| I get the under-the-bed plastic storage containers that you can get at Wal-Mart. The sides are low so mom can get in and out easily and since it is plastic it cleans up real nicely. Then I just put sheets in it until mom delivers and then I change them out and put a comforter in it. The whelping box is then inside of an expen where she also has pads and food and water. Here is a picture of Destiny in her whelping box when she was pregnant.

| I use an under the bed container, they have wheels and are very accessible during whelping. My first one was a large container (one that you can store a Christmas tree in) that had a lid on it. I made a large square hole on the side for mom. They were $10 for the first and $8 for the second at Walmart at the time. |

| i also use the underbed clear storage box from walmart. i just set it in the corner of my x-pen and put a pish pad in the bottom. Pish pads are the only lining I use having a very bad mess the first time because i didn't know any better and used blankets and newspapers. |
