| ![]() Unfortunatly I have had thtat happen with my little yorkie. She went into labor about 5days before her due date. One night around midnight she started acting strangely running around the house and chewing agressivly on anything she could find. She wouldnot go into her welping box so I sat onthe floor with her and tried to make her comfortable finally she pushed out one puppy it came out placenta first she did not show any intrest in tearing the sack or anything so I had to do it.I got the puppy out and tried to suction and massage but after a few minutes I realized that it was a lost cause. The same thing happened 2 more times placenta first followed by a lifeless puppy.I had taken her to the vet for an x ray so I knew we were looking at 4 puppies. Finally 7:00 the next morning she still had not delivered the last puppy.I had hoped that the xray was wrong and she was finished with her nightmare but it wasnt the last puppy was not coming out on its own.My baby lost 4 of her babies and still had to have a c secton to get the last one out. This was truely a living nightmare.I was so upset with the whole situation that my husband had to talk to the vet to pay the bill and make the decision to spay.WE did have her spayed because I could not bear ever seeing my baby go through surgery again.I hope no one had to ever face this because it is truely HORRIBLE!!!!!!!My little girls name is fancy and she is now doing wonderful. ![]() |
