How does one go about getting a breeder no.? The person that I bought my yorkies for has one. Is this something you get from CKC or AKC?

I think you may be referring to her USDA number. Large commercial breeders are required to be licensed by the USDA if they sell their puppies to pet shops or brokers.
Do you have her name, number and state? I can look it up for you.
