| puppy packets?? When your puppies go to their new homes do you give a puppy packet with them? If so what do you include besides the registration papers? I was thinking on printing out something on crate training etc... Is this even worth it? Just curious. Deb

| I sent a baby blanket with littermates and mom's scent on it, a bag of food, and a familiar toy. They usually ask alot of questions and we talk about for at least an hour.

| The food I buy has a breeders club so I joined. each one of my babies gets a little plastic folder tailored for the breed with all kinds of phamplets and info. A page you can use for health records, A bag of food is included. i also give a new baby blanket in pink or blue, a new toy also goes. I always lay the blanket down the night before they leave to let the scent of parents, siblings and others get on it and then when they leave, i rub mommy, daddy and siblings with the blanket and put it over the baby as it leaves. And it goes without saying they have their registration papers, shot records and copy of signed heath guarantee. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | When Lexie's puppies left with their new families I sent with them.... - AKC paperwork - copy of puppy contract - Yorkie puppy care guide information sheet - small bag of puppy food that puppy was used to eating - health info booklet from the vet showing shots, etc. that they had received - I also printed out pictures of each of the pups from birth til the age they left, also including a picture of Lexie and the sire. They were just wallet size pics....2 sheets with 9 pictures on each. From their reactions, I think the families really appreciated them.

| My vet has a little new puppy packet that I put in with the other papers. Also toy, food, treats, collar & leash, a few potty pads and a CD with pictures of the puppies growing up. I think the crate training printout would be a good idea |
