In defense of Anne Wylie. Yes she was suspended due to a error in paperwork. It was during a time 4 years ago that her husband had a stroke and also got cancer, her kennel helper died and so much was going on in her life. She accidentally wrote down the wrong sire on two different litters. Anyway, she is not under suspension now because AKC backdated the suspension to June, when the inquiry was made and the suspension was up in Dec. Anne has learned the hard way to write down the sires on a calendar to avoid mistakes. We are all human and we all make mistakes, whether we admit it or not.

thank you for posting that correction about Anne - that didn't really make sense. Because akc gave her 6 mths suspension starting in June & they noted it in Nov. I am saddened that this was even brought up in this thread because my limited interaction with Anne has been nothing but positive.

In asking about her, I was hoping that other breeders or show people would know her or her lines. I was hoping to hear more good things

sorry, I just thought I should inform you of what was pointed out to me recently - that she had been suspended. I even made sure I saw the article myself so I knew it was true and wasn't passing on false information. If it was an honest mistake, that's good to know. I do know no one is perfect and sometimes life gets crazy and mistakes can happen.

Personally I would be very upset! It sounds like your yorkies got a great home with you, but if I had placed them in the first home I would have at the very least been informed when they switched homes. We have in our contract that they must come back to us. We make it very clear when a puppy leaves here that it can come back anytime and for any reason. A reason does not even need to be given...the puppy is our first priority...always!

So yea it bothers me that someone is not keeping their end of the deal...but thankfully they did not end up in the wrong hands...which is why that is in our contract! I would just die if I found out one of our pups was abandoned, dropped off at a shelter or worse!

There is already a long and drawn out review of several pages on Fonda in the "Breeders Reveiw' section. i think it starts with beware of Fondarosa.

Their original owner had Roxy's pedigree, but has lost/misplaced Bubba's. But I searched for Bubba's breeder - Anne Wiley listed on the AKC registration - and found her website - Hylan Acres (http://www.yorkiesathylan.com/index.html)

**Side question - do any of you know her?? What do you think of her lines? I thought she had beautiful dogs & might consider a pup from her in the future - what do you think?**

Anne & I have exchanged emails that first night. She has beautiful babies & she said Bubba looks a lot like his sire - who is also pictured on her website. She seemed to remember exactly who I got Bubba from - even they never met in person as Bubba was shipped here from Texas. Anne was extremely nice to me & said she was so glad Bubba had found a good home with me.

I'm still trying to find Roxy's breeder - so I'm again concerned about her being upset about the rehoming; but I guess my concern about this issue is second to finding the actually breeder.

How upset would you be to find out your contract wasn't honored?

** another side question - Still trying to find Roxy's breeder - can you help? This is what I know: The breeder's name is Fonda A. Bennett. The sire is Bostron’s Tiny Peewee and the dam is Bennett’s Frisky Frolic. Roxy’s sire comes from a long line with the Bostron’s kennel name, and I did find that Missouri kennel online. Roxy’s pedigree also includes Hauser’s Terrific Tigre – who when I googled that name, found linked to numerous kennels as a sire – but I have no idea who his owner is/was. Anyone recognize any of these names? I know when Roxy's original owner found the yorkies, she did so thru the Internet.

IF I ever found out that the owner of my dog hadn't honored the contract they signed, I would sue them and try to legally get my dog back.

This person is NOT possibly one of the breeders of my dogs - so I'm not concerned with this

Well, pardon me, I didn't bring it up. I only answered a question from another poster that had nothing to do with you or your dogs.. it was post number 7. I fail to see your need to quote my post.

yes, and I answered post #7 in my post #12 - the matter did not need to be rehashed. And that poster was implying this could be the breeder of one of my dogs. I am the OP & I hate to see people brought into this who have nothing to with any of this thread. Why I quoted you - so it is known that I'm responding to you. You did the same to me, as is done in many a thread on YT every day, not sure why you see a problem in that. I said I meant no disrespect to you, and I meant it.

Why I have a problem is because I only made one simple statement. I said, not one word about you or your dogs. I answered the question as soon as I read it. I don't usually bother reading the entire thread to see what's been hashed and what's not. Perhaps I shouldn't have even been on your thread but as a breeder, i thought I would take part. Sorry, that won't happen again on your threads.. Several other posters mentioned Fondarosa also. i made one statement and did not imply anything. perhaps the person that posted post number 7 did but it certainly wasn't me and I certainly did not start any "re-hashing" so that is the problem I am having, why you singled ME out. I was never upset with you. Twice I told you I meant no disrespect for what you had posted. I meant it. I have no understanding of why you want to drag this out.

I have never ever had any conflict with anyone on YT & I would hate for you or anyone else to misinterpret my intentions. I am sorry that you feel you should avoid my threads.

If you had read the thread through or even down a couple posts you would have seen the title of the thread about fondarosa had already been posted. My point was to say let's not bring her up again or discuss someone I have no idea about or concern about.

I wasn't pointing fingers at you, it was more of an effort not to have someone else after you pickup on the fondrosa matter & talk about her when she is irrelevant.

I truly am sorry that we do not see eye to eye on this. I began this thread because I was looking for answers from breeders about contracts & rehoming, and yes, I am curious about the breeders of my adopted dogs.

I am sorry this thread took on this direction.
