Just got back from the vet...temp was 100.5 a little low but it was cold outside. Vet found nothing strange, abdomen looks good. She is actually asking for food !! Her red blood cells were low but nearing the normal range at 29.4% HCT....her hemoglobin is a bit low at 9.4%. Dr. Jessen gave her a B12 shot. We go in a couple of days again. We're calling these puppies the million dollar babies, LOL. Thanks again for your help and mentoring!! |

Mary, it is one in the same.(KFC and Kenny Kings) They changed those two names back and forth and here in Ohio alot of us still call it Kenny Kings. I'm glad to read that Kim has Hannah eating something much better for her than what I suggested. Have a good night and prayers coming for Hannah and the little one. |

The wealth of knowledge on YT never ceases to amaze me! It sounds like both Hannah & Rylee are on the right path to recovery! Yippy! I know the warning does not only apply to veterinarians but to our human doctors too. What they say and recommend ALWAYS needs to be questioned and investigated! I am so thankful you started this thread. It's already saved one wonderful Yorkie, Rylee (Mother to my Jolie & Jen) from tragedy and I'm sure it will save others in the future. Thank you for writing your story, as hard as it must have been. I'm very relieved and thankful to read the mom's are on the mend and the pups are all thriving. |
I just wanted to say thankyou for sharing your story too... Prayers for Hannah and little miracle.. |
My hat goes off to all of you breeders. To go through all of this is a true test of your strength. I hope everyone is doing well.:) |
Hannah and Miracle had thier vet check again today...Hannah is doing perfect and so is her baby girl...because of Miracles size we waited to do the dewclaws and decided to do them today along with Mercedes boys...she took it like a champ and the boys were weinies..:) Miracle's eyes are just beginning to open when they do Ill post an updated picture... |

Glad things are better! Donna |
Hey Kim, You need to post more pics of Miracle....and is that stubborn mother eating yet? |
Nope Hannah still wants to be fed will only drink, but she will soon understand the food is in a bowl on the floor now, if she wants it she must go get it. I hope "Little Miracle" eyes will open tomorrow its day 15 today ...Ill take new pics tomorrow:) |
"Miracle" now is weighing 5.2 oz....still no eyes open at day 17, starting to get a bit concerned!! But since she was born at 57 days vet is not worried as yet!! Hannah BTW is totally back to normal and doing her little "Hannah bobanna happy dance" again:) Mercedes and the linebackers are in rare form, mothers milk is so good they cant resist...not a week old yet and all have gained about 3 oz!! |
And so life settles down at King's Legend. What a roller coaster over the last two and half weeks. |

Wonderful, now we only need to see little Miracle's eyes open. Everything is sounding super. |
All I can say is thank heavens Hannah belonged to an experience breeder. The end results could have been very different. I am so sorry for the loss of the two little boys and am so happy Hannah has a little girl to bond to and take care of. After all this poor baby went through she deserves that. Congratulations on your inner instint. It saved your beloved Hannah's' life. |

:) You are too much and that did give me a big smile. Hannah now don't become a fast food junkie. hahaha |
OMG You have been through alot.2 deliveries and the problems you have had to work through.I commend you!! I do agree thank goodness she was with a knowledgeable breeder for she probably would of been lost and little miracle baby also. Hopefully her eyes will open soon.I have had one litter of preemies and it was 20 days before they opend their eyes. Did Hanna ever get any milk back in? |
So glad that these two are going better. Hopefully you are getting some much deserved sleep now. |

She could be that would break Hannahs heart not to have her baby, Hannahs been through enough...so I continue to keep them both happy by doing all the feeding. |

Kaline I might add if it is the advice of the "fertility specialist" to do so next week then I will do what they feel is necessary to keep little miracle safe. They have had many years experience and are a well respected breeders vet. This is when I would have to default to the experts not the derranged individual (shall I say two or three derranged individuals with hidden identities and agendas) that can cut and paste an answer without any breeding experience, on another board...using my "Miracle" as a tool in their games. How sad you people are and you know who you are! |

K--Sorry that you tried to be open and honest with your experiences and this situation in an effort to do nothing but help others out and someone used your story for their entertainment. :( If the only way someone can feel good about themselves is by trying to discredit others that are trying to do good...well, that just demonstrates what kind of person they are. Don't let it get to you...the information you have provided here has already helped and saved others from going through the same heartache--there is NO shame in that!:) |
