| what a huge litter, an easy way of feeding is a 3cc syringe with a baby nipple at the end...you can control how much their eating and they dont have to use a lot of strength to get it...take a large needle heat it up with a lighter or your stove pierce the center of the nipple...put water in the baby bottle and squeeze if you get large flow then your nipple hole is big enough... fill your syringe with the suppliment and put the nipple on; take the largest pups (leave the smaller ones on the teats) and suppliment them first slowly push the syringe, what they cant take in will come out the sides of their mouth, that will tell you if your doing it too fast...this young I would be feeding them every 2 hours during the day and every four hours during your bed time. Pups should be eating 3-5 cc's every two hours...To assure their not dehydrated, look at their skin if it is wrinkled on the back or neck they are not getting enough fluides...pinch the nape of the neck if the skin holds that too will tell you they need far more... hope this helps, good luck!

| The other 8 are doing great and are thriving real well,i have tried to supplement them with royal canin puppy milk but they are not taking it yet,I think they are getting too much from trixie.I just keep making sure that she is getting plenty of good food, she is eating Royal canin mini junior and chicken and cheese and is on a calcium supplement. The puppies are starting to open their eyes now,I will take some pics in a few days and let you all see how well they are doing ,they will be 2 wks old on tuesday.I have 3 female dogs ,Trixie is the yorkie mom,Phoebe is the cavalier mom, her pups are almost 7 wks old and my pug sassy had 5 pups 7 days ago, here are some pics |

| well all 8 puppies are doing great, they are 3 weeks old now and getting real cute,I will take some pics soon,I promise,I have started to try them with food, trixie is doing a great job feeding them still but want to get them started now on solids to give her a break.I might keep one myself if there is one that I get attached to but I do love them all,I still cant tell them apart, the hard work starts now with them, they are piddling everywhere now and trixie is not really cleaning the pooh now either,it is hard work trying to give them all a little attention,i hadnt really being handling them much up until the last 2 days so going to start cuddling and talking to them more now,all 8 of them |
