I guess it's just not a breed I'd care to own...they are very strong dogs. Honestly, any dog could attack you which is why I prefer to own little dogs that can't hurt/kill me

It just seems like the mastif/pit-bull type breeds are unpredictable. There was a lady handler that had trained and handled for show a bull mastiff. She showed him for a few years, being with him and taking care of him the whole time. One day while he was in his crate, she opened the door to get him out and he lunged at her and bit her up pretty bad. You just never know.

Omg if i were a breeder i would be BEYOND picky! I don't think ppl would wanna deal with me lol I would grill them, ask them TONS of questions, ask to meet them, about their family, work, etc. And then once they get one of my babies i would give them tons of info., etc.! And a contract and they would have to update me every so often!

i really think its something thats just in them like yorkies are bread to get mice ect some breeds are bread to protect or fight, its a gamble as to if that trait will ever come out in a dog. i know that i really wouldnt trust a german sheppard my friends family had one for 8 years and one day when my friend and his dad were play wrestling the dog attacked the boy and ripped his ear off. the only thing my friends parents could think of is the dog thought my friends dad was in danger. he was always a sweet dog but i know i wont trust a dog that has bad traits bread into them. i know people who have pits and when we went to their houses i always told my kids they could pet the dog and thats it dont try to play with it because you just dont know.
