Zoe, keep fighting..

I have a 9 wk old teacup yorkie who was diagnosed with parvo Sunday night 03/08/09. She has been in the care of a vet since then on IV's, hemoglobin drip, feeding tubes in her little nose and plasma transfusions. It's been about 5 days and she's showing very little signs of improvement. She is still alert and can walk around but gets very weak and lays back down. She hasn't eaten since saturday night. I've read on different websites that if your puppy makes it through the first 3 or 4 days of sickness the puppy has a good chance of surviving?? My husband and I are emotionally/financially drained and don't know what else to do. We don't want to give up on her, it seems as if she's fighting but showing no signs of improvement. Do anyone have any experiences with a teacup and parvo?? Some vets have said her size is a disadvantage for her.. is this true? I keep waiting for the phone call from our vet saying she's eating on her own and ready to go home. Any advice??

![]() | Omg! I am terribly sorry. I just had the same situation happen to me just yesterday. I couldnt afford to pay for her care so I had to sign over my rights. I called today and they told me that she is doing so much better. I will pray for your little one. does the breeder know? |
