well hey there.....i dont own any yorkies...YET
.im planning on getting one next year i spent all of my christmas money on a stupid phone
.anyway....i cant wait.but i live in mississippi, and i was wondering if you knew any breeders or if you were selling one.but not if you live in jackson or above!!!unless you have cheap shipping or its free.anyways,my friend said that yorkies die real soon
.but,i heard that they are more likely to live longer beacause their heart and bones dont have so much weight
.so is that true or not?well i have to go but i would like to have some tips on what yorkies attitudes are like ,and also what your yorkies' things they like/prefer are.

![]() | As Megan said, no most Yorkies don't die young. They really do have long lifespans. To look for a breeder and meet everyone else on YT you can post in the forums section by clicking on "forums" on the top left of your screen. |

![]() | Check the Yorkie Talk's Featured Breeder sectionYeah, small healthy dogs live longer than big dogs in general. Anyway, check out the YT's featured breeder section. A member must follow the YCTA rules. I went there the other day because someone mentioned it and depending on who you choose, you can send a deposit, that'll give you time to save some money, and then pick a dog when ready...must be one in your area. Even if you have to ship one and the breeder's health screening and guarantee is better etc etc...save a little longer and spend the money now so you'll be secure and have less chances of problems down the line... If you go to the regular Yorkie for sales section there are no rules or guidelines to follow. I'm sure there are some great breeders in the section just be careful choosing...which ever one you choose their puppy will be with you for a long time...hopefully!!!!! If it's going to take some time to save some money to pick one anyway, spend a good amount of time choosing... I hear also that AKC is the best registration. Be very careful!!!!! Trust me!!! |
