Help need info

Hi everyone I'm getting my first Yorkie Friday. And I really dont know that much about a Yorkie! How much food should i feed her (she is 1lb and 12 weeks)and what kind of food do you recommend?and how easy are they to potty train? ( i was looking at a chihuahua and I fell in love with her and I dont know anything about them.)and how big do you think she will get?

 |  Hi and congrats, I just got apple this Thursday myself. I decided to feed her wellness since it is one of the best and has no by products. I also did not know just how much to feed her so I started off with hand full of kibble to test it out. She only ate about half or less then half so i have been adjusting it so not to waste any. Since she is small I am trying to give her food about 3 to 4 times a day with some water. I also bought the nutrical since day one she did not want to really eat and that has been helping. As for the weight I think they say you should multiply her current weight by 2 and that should be her expected adult weight when full grown. Im not to sure how true that is. As for potty training I have been waiting about 10 to 15 minutes after feeding her and then taking her to her wee wee pad. I hope she gets the concept soon. I have rugs in the bedroom and no accidents yet. Best wishes with your little one and enjoy they are not a bad breed. |
