Floppy Ears

I am new to Yorkie Talk so please bear with me as I attempt to figure this site out. I have a question about the Yorkie ears. My Harley has floppy ears and I love them that way because it keeps him looking like a puppy but if I want them to stand up when he gets a little older will it be too late? He is almost 7 months old now. I would like to wait on having his ears tipped. I didn't know if it would have any effect on his ears standing up in the future. Any ideas?

![]() | Found this online for you:Usually..if you see they are drooping, use cardboard and medical bandage tape to hold them up till the cartilage firms up. Have you tried to shave the hair off his ears? |

![]() | Empty cardboard applicator...I just remembered something my father used to do to get his pups ears to stand up....he'd take a cardboard tampon applicator so that the ear stands straight up and wrapped surgical tape around it....I had to try it for Jonah cuz his ear fell back down.... |
