My poor Thumps...

Im worried, my Yorkie has been limping now for about 3 weeks... I took him to the vet and she told me nothing seemed broken and that it was probably a nerve that was out of place, but he's not getting any better. She gave him some medicine for the swelling. When he wakes up in the morning he walks on it but as the day goes he starts limping more and more. I dont know what to do in order for it to get better. I was thinking maybe I could put a band around his leg? Please if anyone has some pointers let me know...thanks!
