Ever sooo Heart Broken!

I just had to post~ I am besides myself. My sweet sweet Lilli Bird was hit by a car Saturday night in front of our house while we were outside BBQ~ing. The neighbor across the street heard it. The car never even stopped! My poor neighbor was so shaken over this. This was our first meeting even,as we hav'nt lived here but a month. But Lilli passed away that night on our way to the emergeny room. We are soooo lost without her. She just filled our lives with such joy! Even my 14 year old son was cring. I did'nt even know she touched him like that. Lilli was just a little over a year old. So sweet and full of personality. I run a childcare and she is such a BIG part of the children's lives as well. As when she hears each one come thru the door she comes and greets them~ just so Happy to have someone else to play with her. It was my husband who ended up ever so attached to her. SO unexpectedly. She was by his side always and in his truck each time he went anywhere! We love our Lilli! We are missing her deeply. Nights and days are so unbearable and lonely. I have never been attachted to a dog before in my life!! This is hurting soooooooo bad!! Sorry, but I just needed to vent with others who I know would understand.I try to keep strong around my family~ so to not re~live it all.
