Does any of your puppys bite, while playing with you? Gracie doesn't understand not to stop biting while playing. Does anyone have any suggestings how to stop?

![]() | My girl is a little over a year old and she doesn't necessarily bite when we play but when i get home she goes crazy and just has to touch me, as in her mouth over my hand. it's not necessarily a bite but her way of saying i'm so glad your home! just wish she could find a better way! :-) |

![]() | I don't know if this is approved but I gently pinch the lips, holding on, when mine bite me and say, 'no bite.' They have all learned. |

![]() | My toddler male bites the older female. I think it is a combination of aggression assertion and teething. I lightly tug on his facial hair and tell him "No!" You should especially discourage biting humans, even in play. I often grab one of his toys when he feels restless and playful and turn it in to a fetch session. This way, he can chew the rubber toy and run off the excess energy simultaneously. It really seems to work. Best of luck, Lisa, Lilly & Jesse |
